Hub Northen was the third outfielder on the 1912 Brooklyn Dodgers. It was the year that Casey Stengel broke in, and the following year Stengel had the job.
Hub broke in with Monroe in 1908, and then played for Houston in 1909-10. Other minor league teams in his career included Chattanooga in 1911, Toronto and Newark in 1913, New Orleans in 1914, Mobile in 1914-15, and then Houston, San Antonio and Abilene.
