Hillman Lyons

Hillman Lyons was twice named the Minor League Executive of the Year by The Sporting News, first in 1952 with the Danville Dans and then in 1967 with the Richmond Braves. Among many other teams, Lyons was also GM of Danville in 1953, Richmond in 1966 and would later serve as GM of the Macon Braves in 1981.

Lyons also served as director of customer services for the Milwaukee Braves in 1963-1964 and scouted for the Detroit Tigers and Montreal Expos (1970).

Lyons was in the Marines during World War II.
