Biographical Information[edit]

Hi Ebright was almost 30 by the time he had his major league season in 1889 - the oldest player on the team was 31. He hit better than the average player on his team, with good power. He played catcher, shortstop, and outfield in the half season he was in the majors.

He also managed at least five years in the minors.

Articles in 1915 referred to him as president of the Wichita team in the Western League. He had previously managed at Wichita when it was in the Kansas State League.
