Heinie Berger pitched four years for the Cleveland Indians, with his best year in 1908 when he went 13-8. Berger's page at baseballlibrary.com states he was a spitballer who twice won 20 games in the minors before coming to the majors. One of those seasons was with the 1905 Columbus Senators, who won 100 games, when Berger went 25-14. Berger led the league with 200 strikeouts.
