Héctor Rodríguez was the regular third baseman for the 1952 Chicago White Sox. He appeared in 124 games and had 108 hits for a total of 125 bases. Including 14 doubles and one home run among his blows, hitting at an average of .265.
He then spent nine years in AAA without a call-up. Hector was with the Montreal Royals in 1951, appearing in 153 games. In the '51 season he had 184 hits good for a total of 256 bases. He batted in 95 runs and carried a hitting average of .303.
Rodríguez collected 2,390 minor league hits in the International League, Pacific Coast League, and Mexico. He added 313 doubles and 226 stolen bases to his .290 minor league average.
