Hayden Penn underwent surgery on May 2, 2007, to remove a bone chip from his right elbow. He made his first minor league rehab start after the surgery on August 13, 2007. He is currently (Oct. 2007) pitching in the Arizona Fall League, and may compete for a spot in Baltimore's starting rotation in 2008.[1]
