[edit] Biographical Information
Harvey Shank pitched for four years in the Los Angeles Angels organization, and then for 30+ years has been an executive with the Phoenix Suns. A photographer, his work was featured on the cover of "Nature Photographer" magazine. His son Jon also played for Stanford University, Shank's alma mater.
Shank was 7-3 as a reliever and occasional starter for the 1970 Hawaii Islanders, who went 98-48.
Shank's major league career was only one game, but in that game he pitched three innings and gave up no runs.
