[edit] Biographical Information

Harry Wolfe was born in Massachusetts but raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He played for the Duluth White Sox of the Northern League in 1914, 1915, and 1916. He briefly played for both the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates in 1917, before finishing the season with the Hibbing (Minnesota) Colts of the independent Duluth-Mesaba League. He began the 1918 season with the minor league Minneapolis Millers before serving in the Army at Camp Dodge, Iowa, during World War I.

After the war, he played for the Louisville Colonels in 1919, and then moved to semi-pro baseball in Minnesota and Indiana. He lived in Huntington, Indiana, for most of his life. He died at the Veterans Administration hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is buried at Apostolic Lutheran Church Cemetery in Esko, Minnesota.
