Harry Taylor was signed by the Chicago White Sox in 1938, but missed five seasons (1941-1945) due to military service and didn't get to the majors until 1946. He was with the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1946-48, and the Boston Red Sox from 1950-52.
His biggest year was 1947, when he went 10-5 and appeared briefly in the 1947 World Series.
