Harry O'Neill was a catcher with Harrisburg of the Interstate League (1940) after a cup of coffee with the 1939 Philadelphia Athletics. He was a Marine in World War II and was killed at age 27 in the Battle for Iwo Jima.
O'Neill was inducted into the Gettysburg College Hall of Honor in 1980 [1].
