[edit] Biographical Information

Harry Moore was the star of the 1884 Washington Nationals, leading the team by a large margin in batting average and slugging percentage. Moore played 111 games for the Washington Nationals in 1884. This was the only year he played in the majors.

Bill James calls him the "best of the Union Association regulars" who never played in one of the other major leagues.

He is not to be confused with a contemporary, Henry W. Moore, who played minor league ball for several years in California.
