Harry Lunte, a backup on the 1919 Cleveland Indians, was one of the shortstops who got playing time in 1920 after Ray Chapman was killed. Along with Lunte, the Indians used a rookie named Joe Sewell who went on to win the position.
Lunte appeared briefly in the 1920 World Series.
