Harry Hoch was the only major leaguer out of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years until Ryan Vogelsong broke in.
Hoch was in the minors as early as 1907, pitching for Wilmington, Harrisburg, Elmira, Binghamton and Louisville.
