Harley Boss was the regular first baseman for the 1933 Cleveland Indians, between the time when Ed Morgan was the first baseman (1930-1932) and the time when Hal Trosky was the first baseman (1934-1941).
Boss was manager of the Clarksville Colts in the KITTY League in 1947. The team finished in 8th place with a 40-83 record. He was the coach at Vanderbilt University in 1960 and 1963-1964.
