[edit] Biographical Information
Centerfielder Hank Perry played for the 1912 Tigers, a team on which the regular centerfielder Ty Cobb hit .409.
On April 16, 1912, Cobb had left the team after a fight with management about the hotel, so Perry was put in the lineup. He went 2-for-6 against the Chicago White Sox. Source: SABR Biography of Flame Delhi.
