[edit] Biographical Information
Catcher Hank Foiles is one of very few players to have been selected twice in the Rule V Draft. He was a very unlikely All-Star for the 1957 Pittsburgh Pirates, when he had a career-high 281 at-bats and hit .270 with 9 home runs. He also took part in over 100 games in 1958, hitting only .202, but for the rest of his 11-season major league career, he was strictly a back-up.
