[edit] Biographical Information
Hank Blalock is a third baseman who started a promising career with the Texas Rangers in 2002, but was set back by injuries in following years. Hank led all American League third basemen in home runs, hits, RBI, extra-base hits and total bases from 2003-2005. He played in the All-Star Game the first two of those years.
His brother, Jake Blalock, also played in the Rangers' system, but never reached the major leagues.
