[edit] Biographical Information

24 years old Hank Behrman made his major league debut on April 17, 1946, with a 4-2 win against the Boston Braves. He went on to appear in 47 games (second most appearances by a pitcher in the National League that year) and compiled an impressive 11-5 record with a 2.93 ERA.

Behrman entered the United States Military Service October 5, 1942 and was discharged on January 30, 1945.
