Hank Boney pitched three games for the 1927 New York Giants, posting an ERA of 2.25.

On the Giants, he was the same age as Travis Jackson, ten years younger than Burleigh Grimes and eight years younger than Rogers Hornsby. Other teammates included Bill Terry, Freddie Lindstrom, Edd Roush and the 18-year-old Mel Ott.

In 1929 he went 18-7 for Bridgeport.

Boney was at the University of Florida at the same time as a number of other future major leaugers, most notably Johnny Burnett.

He lived to be nearly 100 years old.
