Han-joon Yoo has played several years in the Korea Baseball Organization. He was signed out of college by the Hyundai Unicorns. In 2005, he was 5 for 26 with two walks, a double and a home run. During 2006, Yoo hit .244/~.333/.346 in 110 games and 246 AB. In 2007, he batted .223/~.329/.330 with 35 RBI in 197 AB over 112 games. Yoo was with Korea in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, hitting .232/.350/.242 as their starting first baseman; he had the lowest slugging percentage of any Korean regular. He did not play in the KBO in 2008.
