[edit] Biographical Information
Ham Iburg won 37 games for San Francisco in 1901, came to the majors in 1902, and then went back to San Francisco in 1903. He continued to pitch in the PCL in 1904-05.
Much has been made of Iburg's 18 losses as a rookie in the majors, but he wasn't even tops on his own team, with Doc White losing 20 that year. Bill Duggleby had a record similar to Iburg's, going 11-17.
With San Francisco in 1903 he won 26 games, second best on the team.
