Hal Raether, a right-hander out of the University of Wisconsin, made two relief appearances with no decisions for the Philadelphia Athletics. The first came in 1954 in the team's final year in Philadelphia and the second in 1957 by which time the franchise had been relocated to Kansas City.
Raether left baseball at age 26 in 1958 and went on to become the director of an athletic club. He is now retired in Prescott, WI.
