[edit] Biographical Information

Lefty Hal Hudson had short stays with no decisions in six relief appearances for the St. Louis Browns in 1952 and the Chicago White Sox in 1953. The winner of 117 games with a 3.99 ERA in a 13 year career in the minors, he was acquired by the Browns after a 16-5 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the International League in 1951. Hal recalls a lot of memorable experiences being in the same bullpen with the legendary Satchel Paige.

Hudson retired from his job as a sales manager for Revlon in the late 1980's and now divides his time between his home in Newnan, GA and Detroit, MI, where he spends his summers working as a harbormaster at the Gross Pointe Club.
