HSV Sparta/Feyenoord is a member of the Hoofdklasse. Based in Rotterdam, Sparta/Feyenoord was formed in 1998 by the merger of the Sparta team (started in 1942) and Feyenoord (started in 1954). They play their home games in Sportpark Beverwaard. Neither Feyenoord nor Sparta/Feyenoord won any titles, but Sparta won 9 titles in a dazzling 12-year period - in 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973 and 1974.
