is a
Hoofdklasse team based in
Bussum. HCAW stands for
Honkbalclub Allen Weerbaar. They play their home games in
Sportvallei. The team was established in 1957. The club was not particularly successful until the 1990s. They won Hoofdklasse titles in 1996 and 1998 and were runners-up in the
Holland Series in 1991 and 1997, then every year from 1999-2005, with
Neptunus beating them each of those seven years. In 2002 and 2005, they finished second in the
European Cup.
