Guy Lacy was a minor league infielder for 30 years, ending his playing career at age 44 in 1941. He had a cup of coffee with the Cleveland Indians in 1926. His son, Guy Lacy, Jr. played in the minor leagues 1939 and 1940. He also managed some minor league ball. Born in Cleveland (TN), he was a rookie in Cleveland (OH), lived in both Clevelands (TN & OH), died in Cleveland (TN) and was buried in Cleveland (TN). He died at age 56 at a hospital in Cleveland and is buried at Triplett Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
