Pitcher Greg Reynolds was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the first round of the 2006 amateur draft. He made his pro debut that year with the Modesto Nuts, going 2-1 with a 3.33 ERA in 11 starts. He made 8 starts for the Tulsa Drillers in 2007, going 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA and 35 strikeouts before his season was ended by a right shoulder injury.
Reynolds began 2008 with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, where he went 1-2 with a 4.86 ERA in 7 starts. He was recalled by the Rockies in May and made his big league debut against the San Diego Padres on May 11th, taking the loss after throwing 5 2/3 innings.
