 Biographical Information
Mulleavy led the Piedmont League with 15 3B in 1928, was with Toledo for much of 1929-1931, and led the International League with 206 H in 1933 and 131 Runs and 38 2B in 1934. He was with the Buffalo Bisons from 1933 to 1940.
In 1941, Mulleavy became player-manager of the Jamestown Falcons, leading the team to the best record in 1941 and 1942, and a playoff win in 1942, while hitting .355 and .320 with 31 2B each year.
In 1946 Mulleavy began an association with the Brooklyn Dodgers organization that would last the rest of his life. He was a scout for the Dodgers from 1950-1954. Mulleavy managed the Montreal Royals in 1955 and 1956, then moved up to the Dodger coaching staff from 1957 to 1964, except 1961 when he was scouting.
From 1965 until his death in 1980, Mulleavy was again a scout for the Dodgers.
