Greg Shanahan pitched for the Dodgers in 1973 and 1974.
He was a minor league teammate of Jerry Royster, Rick Rhoden and Charlie Manuel at Albuquerque.
He has served for 12 years as the general manager of the Humboldt All Stars, a team for local and former college players. Shanahan pitched for the Humboldt Crabs, the chief sponsor of the All Stars.
Shanahan runs Greg Shanahan Insurance in Eureka, CA, the town where he was born.
