[edit] Biographical Information
Greg Pryor was George Brett's backup at third base for the Kansas City Royals during the mid-1980s. He played more games at third for the 1984 Royals then Brett did (although Brett played more innings). Brett was healthy by the 1984 ALCS and Pryor only had one at bat in the series.
His father, George, played in the NFL for the Baltimore Colts and his brother, Jeff Pryor, pitched in the California Angels chain from 1968 to 1972.
