The Grays Harbor Ports played in the 1976 Northwest League, going 26-46, the worst record in the league. They were an independent club and were owned as well as managed by Carl Thompson. Attendance was 28,842, 4th in the 7-team NWL. Barry Biggerstaff (9-7, 3.44) made the league All-Star team and led the NWL in almost every counting category - 17 starts, 15 complete games, 3 shutouts (tied for the lead), innings (144), hits (138), runs (77), earned runs (55) and strikeouts (123). He was one off of the lead in wins and two behind the league leader in losses. In 1977 they became the Grays Harbor Loggers. The club represented Hoquiam, WA and Aberdeen, WA.
