Gordon Seyfried was signed by the Detroit Tigers in 1956 and made it to the majors in 1963-64 with the Cleveland Indians, who traded for him after the 1962 season. In the majors he had an 0.93 ERA.
In 1958 he led the Eastern League in victories. He pitched for Denver in 1960.
The Sporting News in 1964 reported that his #1 pitch was his slider. Another source claims he threw a knuckler.
He pitched for the Portland Beavers in 1966.
