Glen Braxton was a minor league outfielder for five years.
Braxton was picked by the Chicago White Sox in the third round of the 1985 amateur draft, a round before they took Bobby Thigpen. Glen hit .255/~.318/.304 for the GCL White Sox that year; he did lead his team with 35 runs. That winter, the Pale Hose traded him with Britt Burns and Mike Soper to the New York Yankees for Joe Cowley and Ron Hassey. Two months later, though, he was dealt back to the White Sox, along with Neil Allen, Scott Bradley and cash for Hassey, Matt Winters, Chris Alvarez and Eric Schmidt.
Glen was 0 for 11 for the 1986 Appleton Foxes. In '87, he hit .181 between two stops, then hit .258/.359/.360 for the 1988 GCL White Sox. He was 2 for 15 with 4 walks for the 1989 Utica Blue Sox to end his career with a composite .222 average.
