Gilberto Gerali pitched in Italy from 1985-1988, with a composite record of 7-5 with 2 saves. He then became a successful manager, guiding Parma to the Serie A1 title in 1996 and winning Manager of the Year honors in 2007. He coached for the Italian national team in the 2007 Baseball World Cup.
