Gerry Hunsicker

Gerry Hunsicker was General Manager of the Houston Astros from November 1995 to 2004, when he was replaced by Tim Purpura. Hunsicker was the longest-serving GM in Astros history.

Hunsicker was the New York Mets farm director in 1989-1990 and GM in 1991-1992. He was then the Mets' assistant GM from 1993 to 1995.

After the 2005 season, Hunsicker was named senior vice president of baseball operations for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
