[edit] Biographical Information
Pitcher George Tsamis was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 15th Round of the 1989 amateur draft. In 1990, he led the California League with 17 wins and finished second with a 2.21 ERA while pitching for the Visalia Oaks.
He has managed several Northern League teams: the Waterbury Spirit (1999-2000), the New Jersey Jackals (2001-2002), and the St. Paul Saints (2003-2005). He followed the Saints when they joined the new American Association in 2006. He coached Team USA in the 2003 Baseball World Cup.
