[edit] Biographical Information
George Mundinger, who was born and died in Louisiana, played in three games in the American Association in 1884.
He also played for Minneapolis in 1884.
Indianapolis, for some reason, had a connection with New Orleans, since it also signed two other players from there, John Peltz and Bill Butler, at a time when few major leaguers had come from there.
The book Baseball in Baton Rouge says that Mundinger later became a judge in Baton Rouge and also umpired minor league games.
