George Francis DeTore

[edit] Biographical Information

George DeTore played for the Cleveland Indians in 1930 and 1931, mostly at third base and shortstop. In 1931 he had both Willie Kamm and Odell Hale as competition at third base.

He had attended Colgate University in 1928. In 1937 he led the PCL in batting with a .334 average.

He was a Pittsburgh Pirates coach in 1959.
