Catcher George Miller played 11 games for the 1877 Cincinnati Reds of the 1877 National League and 6 games for the 1884 Cincinnati Red Stockings of the 1884 American Association.
Miller, who stood 5 ' 5 " tall, was born in Newport, KY, right across the river from Cincinnati. He died in Norwood, OH, a few miles northeast of Cincinnati.
He played for a number of minor league teams, including the one in 1877 in Springfield, OH which also featured Jack Glasscock.
The box scores of September 14 and 25, 1877 show him batting eighth in the lineup.
