George Caithamer appeared in five games for the 1934 Chicago White Sox, hitting a pretty decent .316. The regular catcher for the White Sox that year, Ed Madjeski, hit .221.
He was born, and died, in Chicago, IL. He played in the minors for several years, and also managed in the minors (according to The Ultimate Philadelphia Athletics Reference Book 1901-1954). Later he worked as a driver.
