Pitcher Geoff Edsel was drafted by the California Angels in the 6th round of the 1993 Amateur Draft. He spent seven of his eight season in their system, playing AAA ball in 1996-1999. The following season, Edsel's finale, he pitched for the AA San Antonio Missions in the Los Angeles Dodgers chain.
