[edit] Biographical Information
In 1987, Geno Petralli set the modern day record with 35 passed balls in a season, including six in one game. This is mostly attributed to his catching of Charlie Hough's knuckleball.
Petralli's father, Gene Petralli, was a minor league first baseman 1948-1951, 1953. His son, Ben Petralli, was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 47th round of the 2007 amateur draft.
