The Genesse Valley Riverbats played for three years in the NYCBL. The team joined the league, along with the Saratoga Phillies, as an expansion team in 2004. Their head coaches were Mike Kelly (SUNY Brockport) in 2004, Jason Bunting (SUNY Buffalo) in 2005 and 2006. After the 2006 season the team changed its name to the Brockport Riverbats.
