Gary Woods and Brian Asselstine were both born in Santa Barbara, CA, both went to community colleges in the county of Santa Barbara, and both broke into the majors in 1976. Jesse Orosco also was born in Santa Barbara, CA and went to community college there, but broke in a bit later.
