Shortstop Gary DiSarcina is the brother of minor leaguer Glenn DiSarcina.
Gary managed the Lowell Spinners of the Class A New York-Penn League, a Boston Red Sox affiliate, in 2007-2009. He was then the Red Sox's Minor League infield coordinator.
In 2011, DiSarcina returned to the Los Angeles Angels organization as special assistant to the general manager.
