Biographical Information[edit]

Shortstop Gary Disarcina was signed by the California Angels and scout Jon Niederer as a 6th round pick in the 1988 amateur draft.

Gary managed the Lowell Spinners of the Class A New York-Penn League, a Boston Red Sox affiliate, in 2007-2009. He was then the Red Sox's Minor League infield coordinator.

In 2011, Disarcina returned to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization as special assistant to the general manager. He was appointed the team's third base coach in 2014, then moved over to the first base coaching job in 2016.

Disarcina is the brother of minor leaguer Glenn DiSarcina.
