Garrett Mock was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 3rd round of the 2004 Amateur Draft. The Diamondbacks traded Mock to the Washington Nationals in August of 2006 as part of the trade in which they acquired Livan Hernandez. Mock made his Major League debut with the Nationals on June 8, 2008, in a losing start against the San Francisco Giants.
