Frederick Bedore was a minor league infielder (primarily third base) and manager. He played in 1926 and from 1928 to 1940, batting .290 with 1,690 hits in 1,607 games. He spent 11 seasons at AA, which was the highest classification of his era. In 1936, with the Portland Beavers, he hit .337 with 212 and 49 doubles in 639 at-bats. That was perhaps his best season.

He managed the Waterloo Hawks for part of the 1940 season, replacing John Fitzpatrick.
