Fred Talbot had one career save. It was on September 11, 1969 against the Seattle Pilots as a member of the Oakland Athletics. He pitched the last 2 and 2/3 innings in a 6-3 win. Jim Nash was the winning pitcher. Talbot had played for the Pilots just a few weeks before, having been traded on August 29.
