[edit] Biographical Information
In 1989, Fred Stanley played for the St. Lucie Legends of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. He batted .226 in 21 games. He was a coach for the 1991 Brewers and then was the Farm Director of the Milwaukee Brewers from 1992 to 1996. Stanley was the San Francisco Giants' coordinator of minor league instruction in 2005-2007, and in 2008-2011 is the Director of Player Development.
Stanley missed the 1967 season due to military service.
