Fred Kipp had most of his major league appearances in 1958 for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first year after they left Brooklyn.
He had been a minor league ERA champ in 1953 in the Tri-State League, and had won 20 games for Montreal in 1956.
He was in the military in 1954 and most of 1955. He spent 1961-63 in the International League. After baseball he ran a construction firm in Kansas for many years.
